cVIGIL provide time-stamped evidentiary proof of Model code of conduct / Expenditure Violation by empowering every citizen to click a photo, audio or video using his or her smartphone.
3. Know Your Candidate
The Election Commission of India has developed Know your Candidate (KYC) Applications for both Android and iOS platforms for informing about “Criminal Antecedents” status of candidates. This allows citizens to browse candidates with/ without Criminal Antecedents and empowers the citizens to know the criminal antecedents of the candidates.

The display of the voter turnout has been very limited and was only by way of press releases.
Voter Turnout App made it easy for the users to view the approximate voter turnout on their mobile phones during the General Election 2019. Voter Turnout App is used to display approximate voter turnout details of each Assembly Constituency/ Parliamentary Constituency. Not only citizens but the application can also be used by media houses.
The Voter Turnout App allows citizens to access the approximate cumulative voter turnout percentage overall as well as for each state separately. The application was launched on 18 April 2019
